Free Academy, also known as FACT, has had a website on the internet since 1997 (that's forever in internet years). Our original goal was to provide totally free education using the internet (thus the name FREE Academy of Career Training). Unfortunately, we were unable to do that, so we did the next best thing, we provided very good courses for the least amount of money ($10.00 to $20.00 per course). We figured if we couldn't give it away for free, we would at least make sure that everyone could afford our courses.
Later we branched out into E-Books and templates, mostly related to the excellent (and of course inexpensive) Flash creation software from SWiSHzone, called SWiSH.
Many people using this software have had trouble finding a place to store their files and test them that allowed them to use PHP, MySQL and SWiSH together. That's why we decided to offer our own hosting service.
Now they have exactly what they need, and at a price they can afford!
